Overview
Luru Ru̹bi was founded durring the late 13th century in summer of the year 1163, by Corina Tresëm. The establishment of Luru Ru̹bi was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Luru Ru̹bi's construction back out of the project. Corina Tresëm pushed on reguardles, and Luru Ru̹bi was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.
Luru Ru̹bi was built using the conventions of Wareneese durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Luru Ru̹bi is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.
Luru Ru̹bi is buildings are arranged arrounded a highly ordered system of premissive baked earthen streets which form triangular paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The town rests behind a thick wall made from clay bricks. The wall has all of the proper fortifications and is well made. Unfortuantly the nature of clay brick leaves it quite vulnerable to siege equipment, though the thickness of the wall lends it simmilar resistnace to a thinner hardrock wall. Unfortuantly, these millitarily questionable fortifications are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.
The first thing you notice about Luru Ru̹bi is the large sign at the entrance welcoming you to their humble town. Children come up to you and say hi, some asking if you’ve fought any big monsters, and others just zipping away after their hello. The adults are much the same. By the time you’ve made it a significant way into the town you’ve been invited to a tavern for a pint to drink in exchange for news of the world. You’ve also had no less than three older women give you a sweetroll and direct your attention to their still unmarried children. It would be creepy if it wasn't so sincere.
